I went to see the Steven Hawking film this evening, "The Theory of Everything". I was too young I think at the time to really appreciate the effect of the disease, and seeing how Steven coped was horribly awful. I wish I understood more of your illness at the time. I'm not sure what difference it could have made, but it's only now I have any sort of grasp at what the disease meant on a personal level.
